White House Honey Ale (WHHA) Again


We loved our 2nd Anniversary WHHA with Arlington yeast so much, we're brewing a batch for Spring. Mostly the same, but we're changing up the honey and tweaking the grain bill. We want to go a honey that is a little milder than the in-your-face Orange Blossom.

Fermentables:
67.18% -- 5.50 lbs 2 Row
12.21% -- 1.00 lb Honey (added at flameout)
06.11% -- 0.50 lb Crystal 40L
06.11% -- 0.50 lb DME Golden Light
03.82% -- 5.00 ounces Victory Malt
01.53% -- 2.00 ounces Flaked Barley
03.05% -- 0.25 lb Table Sugar

Hops:
1.50 ounces US Goldings at 60 min
0.50 ounces US Goldings at 05 min
0.50 ounces Willamette at 00 min

Extras:
1 tsp Irish Moss at 15 min

Yeast:
Bootleg Biology Arlington (Saccharomyces Arlingtonesis)

Mash:
Sacch rest: 60 min at 154F
