  • Brewed 9/8/2013
  • Pitched yeast at 75F
  • Fermented in kitchen cabinet
  • Pitched Arlington yeast for 1.00 gallon
  • Repitched White Labs 001 from Brown Ale for 0.50 gallon
  • 9/22/2013: Bottled 1.00 gallon of Arlington yeasted
    • Bottled with local (MD) Orange Blossom Honey (1.02 oz)
      • 7 12oz bottles
    • Washed Arlington yeast
    • Tasting: extreme honey flavor, more of a mead taste than an ale
      • possible warm fermentation?
  • 9/24/2013: Bottled <0.50 gallon of Brown Ale yeasted
    • 3 12oz bottles
    • Tasting: we're calling it a mead (maybe conditioning will soften the harsh honey flavors?)
  • 10/16/2013: Tasting Notes
    • Appearance: Color similar to the honey we used, same for both
    • Aroma:
    • Flavor:
    • Overall: The Arlington is more complex and well-balanced
