1.50 ounces of Ahtanum at 00min

Extras:
3 grams - Gypsum (split between mash and sparge)
1/4 Whirlfloc tablet
Yeast:
Wyeast 1318 - London III Ale yeast
Mash:
Sacch rest: 60 min at 152F

Notes:
  • 11/29/2015: Brewed
  • Pitched yeast at 64F
  • Fermented at 68 for 10 days;  kegged at 10 days
  • 12/2/2015: kegged
Tasting Notes:
  • Very clean beer. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Hops gave the beer a very slight fruity/woody aroma and flavor. The golden promise malt was grainy and slightly sweet. Very good thirst quencher. Would like to see what this recipe would be like in the 6% abv range.
